AI Token Calculator: Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Computational Standards

By accessing and utilizing the AI Token & API Cost Estimator (the "Tool") provided by UtilityMania, you signify your irrevocable agreement to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms govern the professional use of our 2026 computational models and pricing repositories. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are prohibited from using the tool for commercial or personal project planning.

2. Usage License and API Integrity

UtilityMania grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to utilize the Tool for the purpose of estimating token consumption and API expenditures. Under this license, you agree to maintain the integrity of our systems by adhering to the following restrictions:

  • Algorithmic Integrity: You shall not attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or otherwise extract the underlying tokenizer logic or the proprietary 2026 cost-adjustment algorithms used by the Tool.
  • Automated Access: You are strictly prohibited from utilizing automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to perform high-volume queries against our pricing database without prior written authorization from the UtilityMania API Lab.
  • Commercial Redistribution: While you may use the results for internal business reports, you may not repackage or resell the calculation engine as a standalone paid service.

3. Precision and Accuracy of Estimates

The Tool utilizes the 2026 Global AI Pricing Repository, which is updated frequently to reflect the shifting landscapes of providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. However, you acknowledge that:

  • AI providers may adjust their "Inference Tax" or per-token pricing without prior notice.
  • Tokenization variance between standard English, CJK characters, and technical code may result in minor discrepancies between our estimates and final billing.
  • Calculations are intended for budgetary planning and do not constitute a binding financial agreement or guarantee of final costs.

4. Computational Liability

UtilityMania and its developers shall not be held liable for any financial losses, budgetary overruns, or service interruptions resulting from discrepancies between the Tool's estimates and the actual invoices provided by third-party AI platforms. Users are encouraged to utilize the Tool as a primary reference point and verify mission-critical figures within their respective provider dashboards.

5. Governing Law and 2026 Standards

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which UtilityMania operates. We reserve the right to update these terms to reflect new 2026 regulatory standards for AI transparency and data usage at any time.
